You should be fine on vista x64…although its not my preference for an OS unless you have 8gb + ram.

Does the above not solve it?

hi my problem is, I am trying to install MySQL on my Vista x64…
the installer I have is MySQL5.1 for 64 bit windows (yes I’m sure)…

the point is… I never had MySQL on my PC before, but still get the same problem… well at the first install the server couldn’t be started (it created, but I cannot start even at windows task manager, or service manager)

please Help I need it for an L2j server

I’ve trawled through pages and pages of Google searches, all the results claiming their method works, yet yours is the only one I’ve found to be successful!
